The Medjal Top is a wrap-style top cut from metallic fabric, woven with black and gold yarns for a rich, light-catching finish. The cropped silhouette wraps at the waist with self-fabric ties, while soft gathers at the bodice create fluid shape. Raglan sleeves offer a relaxed feel, balanced by a sophisticated V-neckline. Material

51% Viscose Rayon 38% ECOVEROâ„¢ Viscose 11% Polyester

A soft fabric with gentle drape, this material is finished with a metallic sheen. LENZINGâ„¢ ECOVEROâ„¢ Viscose is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF), derived from wood pulp. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability.

LENZINGâ„¢ ECOVEROâ„¢ fibres are recognised by CanopyStyle and EU Ecolabel certification as meeting high standards for environmental practice. This includes a low risk of sourcing raw materials from ancient or endangered forests, and the recycling of water and chemicals in the processing stages. In addition to closed loop practices, LENZINGâ„¢ ECOVEROâ„¢ aim to minimise the risk of pollution, through the cleaning of water before it is returned to nature, and engagement with ZDHC guidelines for safe chemical use. According to Higg's life cycle impact assessment data, LENZINGâ„¢ ECOVEROâ„¢ branded viscose fibres generate up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose.

Through our work with not-for-profit organisation Canopy, we are sourcing more than 95% of our MMCF fibres from producers that have a dark green shirt rating according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report, which is the highest possible rating. This rating is a reflection of Canopy's assessment of the producers' engagement with CanopyStyle audits, their contribution to conservation, innovation initiatives, sourcing policies, transparency and chemical management.

Emerald Clothing are located in Indonesia, with ELK products are made at their factory PT Mataram Tunggal Garment. The company are measuring their environmental impact and have developed a mitigation plan, focused on reducing their impact in areas like electricity and water use.

The factory has a Sedex membership and undergoes regular social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They have also been partaking in ELK's Sustainability Action Plan program since early 2024, a collaborative initiative that focuses on advancing the factory's environmental and social practices.
