An AM to PM investment, the Oben Dress is crafted from a silky Lenzing™ ECOVERO™ viscose blend in timeless black. This midi-length style features elasticated shirring at the front and back, with a button-through design at the waist as well as concealed buttons for a clean finish. A classic silhouette meets a unique texture. Match the dress with the black enamel details of the Mond Earring for a look that’s equally suited to morning meetings as it is to weekend dinners.

Material

57% Viscose Rayon 43% ECOVERO™ Viscose

This textured finish fabric has a gentle drape and soft handfeel. LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF), derived from wood pulp.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres are recognised by CanopyStyle and EU Ecolabel certification as meeting high standards for environmental practice. This includes a low risk of sourcing raw materials from ancient or endangered forests, and the recycling of water and chemicals in the processing stages. According to Worldly's life cycle impact assessment data, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres generate up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to conventional viscose. 

Through our work with not-for-profit organisation Canopy, we are sourcing more than 95% of our viscose fibres from producers that have a green shirt rating according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report. This rating is a reflection of Canopy's assessment of the producers' engagement with CanopyStyle audits, their contribution to conservation, innovation initiatives, sourcing policies, transparency and chemical management.

Emerald Clothing are located in Indonesia, with ELK products are made at their factory PT Mataram Tunggal Garment. The company are measuring their environmental impact and have developed a mitigation plan, focused on reducing their impact in areas like electricity and water use.

The factory has a Sedex membership and undergoes regular social compliance audits, which are conducted by a third party and provide transparency into worker wellbeing and wages. They have also been partaking in ELK's Sustainability Action Plan program since early 2024, a collaborative initiative that focuses on advancing the factory's environmental and social practices.

• Cold hand wash using eco-friendly detergent.
  
• Do not machine wash (even on delicate cycle).
  
• Do not soak, rub, wring or spin dry.
  
• Drip dry in shade.
  
• Warm iron on reverse.
  
• 1cm to 3cm shrinkage in length will occur on the first wash.
  Once ironed the fabric will relax and return to original hand feel and appearance.
