A structured organic cotton denim, this fabric is made for strength and durability. Cotton is a natural plant fibre. It is known for being breathable, durable and soft. Organically grown cotton avoids the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals in the farming process, helping to maintain good soil health, and reduce water & nitrogen pollution compared to conventional cotton. The cotton fibre in this fabric was organically grown in Turkey.

Akarteks are a dedicated denim manufacturer with facilities in Istanbul and Tokat. Akarteks source up to 50% of their electricity from on-site rooftop solar, using the HIGG Worldly platform to report on their energy, water, waste and chemical use.
