This blended yarn uses breathable, ELK environmentally-preferred fibres such as TENCELâ„¢ Lyocell and Naiaâ„¢ cellulosic fibre, mixed with metallic fibres to create a glittery finish.

TENCELâ„¢ Lyocell is a man-made cellulosic fibre (MMCF), derived from wood pulp sourced from sustainably managed forests. It has a silk-like feel, fluid drape and comfortable breathability.

TENCELâ„¢ Lyocell fibres are made using an environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibres using high resource efficiency and low environmental impact compared to conventional methods of production. The spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of 99.8%.

Naiaâ„¢ cellulosic fibre is responsibly sourced from sustainably managed forests and produced in a closed-loop process in the United States. We choose to use this fibre because of Naia`sâ„¢ approach to sustainably managed resources; high safety, social, and environmental standards; and a low environmental impact compared to conventional cellulosic fibres.
